Pam's Bike Ride

Pam Peoples from the morning show just finished a 300 mile week-long bicycle tour to benefit HIS Home For Children in Haiti. 






Special thanks to Pedal and Spoke of North Aurora for donating the bicycle.

Carlin Paul 13 years old Favorite Subjects: Spelling & Math Wants to be a doctor.	From Tony Scott: Don't let the fact that Carlin is trying to look tough fool you.  He is one of the most helpful, kind boys at the orphanage.  Along with Lovensky, he has become one of the leaders that the younger boys look up to.  When I visited HIS Home this January Carlin helped me organize the boys for photos and kept things moving along as we got heights & weights on all of the kids. Unlike Lovensky, Carlin is not in the adoption process.  He is a great kid and I pray he finds a family soon.

From Tony Scott:  During my February 2007 visit to HIS Home a group of kids went out back to paint the "FINI" line banner for the H.I.S. Home 300. After the banner was completed the kids demonstrated their cartwheel and handstand abilities.  From inside we heard a beautiful version of "Shout to the Lord" being sung.  Karine had gone back to her chore of organizing a bookshelf and was joyfully singing as she did so.  Karine, like the rest, is a beautiful kid. From Tony Scott:  Samuel is very polite and somewhat quiet.  He nearly always has a smile on his face.  Like all of the older boys he has taken on a leadership roll at the boys house.  Samuel is still waiting for his forever family.
