West Suburban Home School Band Instrument Fitting will take place on Wednesday, July 8th beginning at 4pm at Ressurrection Catholic Church, 30 W. 350 E Army Trail Rd in Wayne IL. At this event, interested home schooled students (and musically inclined home school parents) can try out a variety of woodwind instruments and see if they would be interested in playing these instruments with the West Suburban Home School Band. Prairie Land Conflict Mediation Center, 206 N Randolph St. Suite 526 in Champaign, will begin its next Peaceful Parenting program either Tuesday, July 7th at 6pm or Saturday, July 11th at 2pm. The class will meet for 2 hours per session for 8 consecutive weeks. The focus of the program is to help participants to improve coping skills in order to reduce the conflict you are experiencing in your parenting relationship. The tuition for the Peaceful Parenting class is $160 for each participant. Tuition reductions are determined on a case by case basis upon request. For more details, please call or go online.
