Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 3050 E. Davis Dr in Terre Haute, will host Run/Walk for God beginning Saturday, May 30th at 7:30am and will continue on Saturday mornings. Runs will also take place Tuesdays at 6:30pm at Deming Park and Thursdays at 7:30am at Hawthorne Park. The goal pf this program is to take those who had never run a race. Teams will include walkers all the way up to advanced runners. Events will include fun runs. Guest speakers will include a physical therapist, shoe specialist and nutrition consultant. The cost is $25. Child care may be available upon request. To participate in this event or for more information, please call Mt. Pleasant the church.

The Pentecostals of Marshall will host the Move For Missions 5K Run/Walk on Saturday, May 30th at 8am at Lincoln Trail State Park in Marshall. All proceeds go toward the Sheaves-For-Christ organization. Please go online to register.

Running of the Rams 5K and Kids' Run (Sat. May 30, 2015 8:00 am - 11:00 am)

St. John Lutheran School in Champaign will host the Running of the Rams 5K and Kids' Run on Saturday, May 30th at 8am at Centennial Park in Champaign. "The Rams", which include local 5K and 10K winners, will attempt to chase them down the runners.
Age-group awards to the top runners. Kids Ages 0-5 can participate in a "Running of the Lambs.", also held at St. John Lutheran Church. Please go online or call for registration or detaisl.

DSI will host the 30th Annual Golf Classic Tournament on Wednesday, June 3rd beginning at 11:30am at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus Indiana. The cost is $130 dollar per participant ($520 per foursome) entry fee includes 18 holes plus cart, buffet lunch and course refreshments. It begins at 11:30 and golfers can sign up online or by phone.

5K Fun Run/Walk (Fri. Jun 5, 2015 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

Thomasboro Grade School PTO will be hosting a 5K Fun Run/Walk on Friday June 5th at West Side Park Schluter Street in Thomasboro. Registration begins at 6pm with run starting at 7pm.  For more information please email or go online.

Purple Run 5K/2K (Sat. Jun 6, 2015 9:00 am - 11:00 am)

St. John's Lutheran Church, 2727 N. Union in Decatur, will hold The Purple Run on Saturday, June 6th at 9am. This fundraising event will support scholarships in honor of Gayle Sablotny, a long time Lutheran School Association faculty member. Registration forms are online.

Totally Tubular 80s 5k and 1mi Fun Run (Sat. Jun 6, 2015 9:00 am - 11:00 am)

St. Mary School PTG will host an 80s 5k and 1mi fun run/walk on Saturday, June 6th at 9am at St. Mary School, 2000 Richmond Ave in Mattoon. There will be a costume contest for best 80s garb and live music by local band Breakaway. The cost is $20 if registered by May 3rd. Please go online for details and to register.

The Macon County Health Department will be offering an evidence-based Chronic Disease Self-Management Program at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center, 1295 West Wood St in Decatur, beginning Wednesday, June 17th from 12:30-3pm. Classes are two and a half hours once a week for six weeks and are free and open to all those affected by chronic health conditions, including family members and caregivers. For more information on the program and/or to register, please call.

Princeton Christian Academy will host the Eagle Run 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run on Saturday, June 20th beginning at 8 am at Zearing Park in Princeton. The cost for this event is $15 for participants 12 & under and $25 for those 13 & older if pre-registered by May 31st. There will be a $5 price increase for each participant registering after the deadline. Registrations accepted on race day. Proceeds will benefit Princeton Christian Academy.  Additionally, the school will donate 25% of race profits to the LaSalle Veteran's Home to honor our soldiers. 11th Annual Family Fun Festival Fundraiser (Sat. Jul 18, 2015 8:00 am - 6:00 pm)

The Family Fun Festival is the 11th Annual Fundraiser for Kendall County Comets Special Olympics and will be held on Saturday, July 18th at 7am with sign in for the 5K Run/1K Walk. The Fun Bike Run sign in will be at  9am. There is also a car show, games, demonstrations, food and more.
