Vineyard Church, 1500 N Lincoln Ave in Urbana, will host the 2nd Annual Shred Day on Saturday, April 29th from 9am-Noon. Along with shredding services there will be information available on Identity theft prevention.  Secured shredding is provided by Triad Shredding of Rantoul. The 5th Annual Share the Love will take place on Saturday, April 29th from 10am-1pm at the Faith Soup Kitchen, 105 E. Dunlap in Jacksonville. This is a free community event to help local families in need. There will be food, clothing, cleaning supplies, and linens will be provided free. A clothing and linen drive will take place on Saturday, April 22nd. Donations will be accepted in the South parking lot at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church from 9am-1pm. Volunteers are needed as well. The Newman Catholic Student Center's Knights of Columbus Council #7682 will host the 10th Annual Golf Scramble on Saturday, April 29th at 11am at at Redhawk Golf Club in Tamaroa. The Lincoln Presidential Library, 212 N Sixth St in Springfield, will host the Collecting Lincoln Event on Wednesday, May 3rd at 6pm. This is a free event and the collection of Daniel Weinberg will be displayed and he will give a talk about the symbiotic roles of collectors, museums and libraries, museum-goers, and dealers.
