Richland Theatre will presents The Reluctant Dragon, Friday-Sunday, April 24th at 6:30pm, April 25th 10am & 3pm and April 26th at 3pm. The United Methodist Church, 339 W. Haven Ave in New Lenox, will host Tracy DeGraaf on Friday, April 24th at 7pm. The title is Life Happens, Laugh Anyway. Doors open at 6pm and tickets are $15. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Imagine No Malaria. Seating is limited and a limited number of tickets may be available at the door for $20. Bowl For Kids' Sake (Sun. Apr 26, 2015 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm)

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Illinois will host Bowl for Kids Sake on Sunday, April 26th beginning at 1pm at Country Tyme Lanes, 1568 East Grove Avenue in Rantoul. Military Care Package Event (Mon. Apr 27, 2015 9:00 am - 11:00 am)

First Class Care Packages will be hosting a care package event on Saturday, May 2nd from 9-11am at the Rolland Lewis Bldg, 800 S. 27th in Mt. Vernon. This event is for local military families to make and send a care package to their service members free of charge. Registration must be received by April 27th. 100% of proceeds of the night Spirited Fun for the Run will go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital on Thursday, April 30th at 5pm at Jupiter's at the Crossing in Champaign. Tickets are $15 and $5 for kids 12 and under and during this time there will be information about the Champaign to Peoria run. Event is at Jupiters at the Crossing in Champaign IL. The 9th Annual SAFE: Scam and Fraud Education Program will be held Tuesday, May 19th at the Vigo County Fairgrounds Expo Building in Terre Haute from 10am-3pm. This Expo will work to prevent telemarketing fraud and related crimes against seniors by promoting awareness and action on preventive strategies by senior consumers, law enforcement, and other community resources to  keep the elderly safe.
