Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 3050 East Davis Dr in Terre Haute, will host the 2nd Annual Adult Prom on Saturday, April 25th at 7pm. The theme of the night is Dance Through the Decades. A Day at the Park (Sat. Apr 25, 2015 11:00 pm - 3:00 am)

Lighthouse Community Outreach will host a Day at the Park on Saturday, April 25th from 11am-3pm at Woodland Park in Collinsville. This event is for orphans and foster children in the metro-east area. There will be free food, crafts, games, sports and more. Volunteer opportunities available to sign up for by email, website, or phone.

Meadowbrook Community Church youth missions will host the Big Fish Golf Scramble on Sunday, April 26th from 1:30-4pm at the Legends Golf Course in Champaign. Ballet 5:8 School of the Arts will present Racham: A True Fairytale Ballet on Sunday, May 2nd at 6pm at Lincoln Way East High School Performing Arts Center, 201 Colorado Avenue, Frankfort. An original full-length classical ballet in two acts with original choreography by Ballet 5:8. FCA Day of Service (Sun. May 3, 2015 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm)

The Illini-Land Fellowship of Christian Athletes will host a Day of Service and Canned Food Drive on Sunday, May 3rd from 2-5pm. Area junior high and high school students will start the afternoon with a service project to benefit a local Champaign-Urbana ministry, followed by a reception at Memorial Stadium featuring guest speaker: Illinois Head Football Coach Tim Beckman. If you’re not able to serve, you can still be involvedby dropping off canned food from 3:30-5pm at the north end of Memorial Stadium; proceeds benefit the Restoration Urban Ministries food bank. Memorial Walk for International Bereaved Mother's Day (Sun. May 3, 2015 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm)

The Memorial Walk for International Bereaved Mother's Day will take place on Sunday, May 3rd at 2pm at Herrin City Park, 1010 N 5th St, Herrin. Please bring a bulb or flower to plant in honor of your child. The walk is approximately 1/3 of a mile long. Afterwards, families will be invited to plant bulbs and flowers in honor of their child.This event is sponsored by Refuge of Southern Illinois and is a support network for anyone who experiences the loss of a baby through miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant death.
