Next Step Recovery Community will host at Passover Dinner Benefit Fundraiser on Friday, April 10th at 6:30pm at The Meeting Grounds, 1400 S. 6th St in Terre Haute. All proceeds will help Next Step expand its services to help women with children in need of housing and programs. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children. The Marriage Course (Fri. Apr 10, 2015 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm)

Wheatland Salem Church, 1852 95th St in Naperville, will host the 7 week Marriage Course beginning Friday, April 10th at 7pm. There is no group work, and you will not be asked to share anything about your relationship with anyone other than your partner. For more details please call or go online.

Decatur Christian School will be holding the Annual Spring Fundraising Auction on Saturday, April 11th at 5:30pm at the Tabernacle Baptist Church, 650 N. Wyckles Rd in Decatur. The tickets are $25 per person and $40 per couple or $150 for a table of 8. Tickets are currently on sale. 

 

Blood Drive (Mon. Apr 13, 2015 11:00 am - 4:00 pm)

New Beginnings Lutheran Church, 304 E. Dunbar St in Mahomet, is sponsoring an American Red Cross blood drive on April 13th from 11am-4pm.  Walk ins are welcome.  Please call for more information.

GEMS (Godly Encouragement for Moms) is hosting guest speaker Lara Krupicka Friday, April 17th from 9-11:15am at Trinity Church of the Nazarene, 1451 Raymond Dr in Naperville. Her topic will be "Life in the Midst of Mommying". There will be a breakfast and childcare available but advanced registration is required. Living Alternatives Walk for Life (Sat. Apr 18, 2015 9:30 am - 12:00 pm)

Living Alternatives will host the Annual Walk for Life on Saturday April 18th beginning at 9:30am at First Christian Church, 3601 Staley Road in Champaign. This event is for the entire family. The World Gospel Church, 900 Gardendale Rd in Terre Haute, will host Mom Swap: Toy & Clothing Exchange on Saturday, April 18th. You can drop off 12:30-1:30pm and then shopping takes place from 2-3pm. All items are free. Donations of clean, gently used items must be sorted by size & gender before drop off. Each adult who donates will receive one ticket for entrance to shop at 2pm.
