Join Orphans Treasure Box for a very large book sale. Drop off books the week of May 13-17 at WBGL. Orphans Treasure Box staff will be taking donations from 9-3 around back at the warehouse. After hours, you can use the donation shed. (Donations are tax deductible and receipts are available.) -Come to the MONSTER BOOK SALE @ WBGL: Monday May 20-Saturday May 25. This is the 7th year we have offered this program to provide educational empowerment to ensure the safety of the seniors from would be scammers. The FREE 7th (annual) “themed” educational program “Scam-a-Lot” will take place at Vigo County Fairgrounds, 3901 US Hwy 41 S., -Terre Haute, IN -May 21st, 2013 from 10a-3pm. There will be a complimentary Medieval meal (courtesy of Sycamore Manor for first 1200 attendees) The Attorney General office will educate about latest scams and frauds targeting seniors. A Bank Security officer/former police detective will teach about identity theft and offer tips to protect the seniors and resources to utilize and more. There is NO charge to attend and reservations are NOT necessary.
