Single Moms Ministry (Tue. Apr 21, 2015 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

The Vineyard Church of Urbana, 1500 N. Lincoln Ave in Urbana, is hosting the The Single Mom Ministry "In His Hands". This is a new ministry for single moms of all ages and stages. In His Hands meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 6pm for dinner and for encouragement. Children attending childcare will have dinner provided. Danville Family YMCA, 1111 N. Vermilion St in Danville, will host Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University beginning Thursday, April 16th from 6-7:30pm. Pasta Feed Event (Thu. Apr 23, 2015 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm)

The Vineyard Church, Lincoln Ave in Urbana, will host a Pasta Feed Event for those participating in the Christie Clinic Illinois Marathon on Thursday, April 23rd at 6pm. The event will include food, fun, encouragement, and give-aways to kick off race weekend. We will be praying over the race participants and the race as a whole. The cost will $15 per adult for a meal and shirt or $5 per adult for the meal. Children can also eat for $2 per child. This is a family friendly event and no child care will be provided. The Women's Care Clinic of Danville will present the 18th Annual Banquet for Life on Thursday, April 23rd at 7pm at the David S. Palmer Arena in Danville. Rachel Aldous and The Road Home will be the main music. Seating and live music begin at 6:30pm and dinner will be served at 7pm. No Family Left Behind Conference (Fri. Apr 24, 2015 9:00 am - 4:00 pm)

The No Family Left Behind Conference will be held Friday, April 24th beginning at 9am at  Faith Family Church, 704 North Green Mount Rd in Shiloh. The free conference and connection fair is for current and past military families. Registration and childcare is free. School Dinner & Auction Fundraiser (Fri. Apr 24, 2015 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm)

Maryville Christian School, 7110 State Route 162 in Maryville, will host the MCS Dinner & Auction to be held on Friday, April 24th at 6pm. Doors open at 5:30pm and dinner will be served at 6pm. The United Methodist Church, 339 W. Haven Ave in New Lenox, will host Tracy DeGraaf on Friday, April 24th at 7pm. The title is Life Happens, Laugh Anyway. Doors open at 6pm and tickets are $15. Building A Successful Stepfamily seminar with Ron Deal will be held Friday and Saturday, April 24th & 25th at the First Christian Church, 2106 South Main St in Jacksonville. The National Kidney Foundation will host The St. Louis Kidney Walk at Saint Louis University, 3338 Olive St in St. Louis on Saturday, April 25th beginning at 8am. Children's Spring/Summer Resale (Sat. Apr 25, 2015 8:00 am - 12:30 pm)

Will County Mothers of Twins Club will host a Children's Spring/Summer Resale on Saturday, April 25th from 8am-12:30pm at the Recreation Center, 900 W. Romeo Rd in Romeoville. There is a $2 cash admission and it is a cash only sale. Doors close at 11am and reopen at 11:30am for ½ price on pink tags. Please no strollers or wagons allowed in the resale area. Marriage, Inc. presents Black Marriage Day weekend celebration on Saturday and Sunday, April 25th & 26th at 2pm at Chalfant Hall, Olivet Nazarene University Bourbonnais. Meadowbrook Community Church youth missions will host the Big Fish Golf Scramble on Sunday, April 26th from 1:30-4pm at the Legends Golf Course in Champaign. First Class Care Packages will be hosting a care package event on Saturday, May 2nd from 9-11am at the Rolland Lewis Bldg, 800 S. 27th in Mt. Vernon. This event is for local military families to make and send a care package to their service members free of charge. Registration must be received by April 27th.
