C/U Empty Bowls will hold the 6th Annual Empty Bowl Event benefit and raffle for the Daily Bread Soup Kitchen on Wednesday, April 1st beginning at 3:30pm at the Silver Creek Restaurant, 402 N. This is a free, interactive, non-denominational community performing a drama of the Easter Story. This event is free to the public. Joliet area youth ministry will walk the cross of Christ on Friday, April 3rd beginning at noon at Cathedral of St. Raymond, 604 N. Raynor Ave in Joliet. The walk will show the battles of child abuse, the unborn, mentally and physically handicapped, the poor and the hungry, to help carry their cross.
