WBGL is a listener supported radio ministry, and we exist because of your generous financial support. Our Spring Fundraiser starts Tuesday, April 23, and we want to prepare for this time by praying and seeking God’s help.
You are invited to join us during these 10 Days of Prayer at WBGL. Thank you for taking the time to pray with us before our Spring Fundraiser begins.
Day 1 – Rest
“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Rest. Today remember this, the Lord promises you rest. Lay your burdens down. Enter into rest, the rest that God promises you. Would you pray for WBGL today, for those listening that are carrying heavy burdens and need rest.
Day 2 – Hears
“The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles.”
Psalm 34:17
Do you know God hears you when you pray? Even the simplest prayer of “help” God hears and HE rescues you from trouble! May the Lord gently remind you today that He hears your prayers!
Would you pray for the listeners of WBGL, those that tune in and are in need of God’s help? Would you pray for their own rescue that they need from the Lord?
Day 3 – Hope
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”
Romans 15:13
As you pray with confidence today, be filled with Joy and PEACE! Trust in God. Look to Him so that “you may overflow with hope!”.
Today, would you pray for those listening to be reminded of the hope that can be found in Jesus? Thank you.
Day 4 – Love
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 5:8
THAT is LOVE! Christ Died for you! Today, pray for those around you who do not know the Love of Christ. Pray also for WBGL as we share about what Christ has done and the gift of salvation that He offers!
Day 5 – Meditate
“Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.”
Joshua 1:8
As you ponder this verse today; read it a few times. What new insight did the Lord give you as you meditate on this verse? You might want to write that down in a journal and continue to study God’s Word.
Day 6 – Strengthen
“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10
Do not be afraid! The Lord promises to strengthen you and help you. He promises to uphold you with His “VICTORIOUS RIGHT HAND!” Thank you Lord for this promise! Who around you is dismayed or dealing with fear? Maybe that friend needs to hear these words today and you might share them with them.
Day 7 – Serve
“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Matthew 20:28
What a great reminder that Jesus did NOT come to BE served but to serve. He was our great example. Ask the Lord how you can serve today.
Day 8 – Armor
“Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.”
Ephesians 6:10-11
If you have some time today, read the all of Ephesians chapter 6. Remember that your strength comes from the Lord. Put on the Armor of God. Today as you pray remember that YOU are strong IN THE LORD! And you can stand against the devil’s schemes!
Day 9 – Light
“In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16
God created you to be a light, to let your light shine. May you be encouraged that HE IS SHINING THROUGH YOU! Would you pray for WBGL to be a light in the darkness?
Day 10 – Don’t stop praying
“Pray in the Spirit at all times and on every occasion. Stay alert and be persistent in your prayers for all believers everywhere.”
Ephesians 6:18
Don’t stop praying! Today as you pray, stay alert and be persistent. If you can, at some point today take a prayer walk. Pray for all believers everywhere as God leads you!
