The City of DeKalb Police Department and the Aurora Sportsmen’s Club, Rueff Rd in Waterman, will host a Sporting Clays Tournament and Shoot on Saturday, September 30th at 8am. All proceeds raised will support Camp Power. Along with the sporting clays event there will be a picnic lunch, silent auction, side challenges and more. Running with the Dogs 5K Fundraiser (Sat. Sep 30, 2017 8:00 am - 11:00 am)

Running With The Dogs 5K will be held on Saturday, September 30th at 8am at Junction City Shopping Center; 5901 Prospect Rd in Peoria. This race allows participant with a canine friend. Friends of Gina Ilbery will host a Benefit for her on Saturday, October 7th from 4-9pm at Field Community Consolidated School, 21075 N Hails Lane in Texico. Ms. Ilbery is Superintendent at Field School and was recently diagnosed with Cancer. There will be live music with The Prodigal Sons and The Gospel Messengers, a meal, live auction and more. Hooves of Hope, 7757 US Route 136 in Potomac, will host the Rodeo Round Up on Saturday, October 7th beginning at 4pm. Mentors 4 Kids, Inc. will host a Benefit on Friday, October 13th at 6pm at 207 N. Centralia Road in Mt. Vernon. The benefit will include The Fun Pianos Show, a Chili Cook Off, Silent Auction and more. Tickets are $30 and are available online.
