Lyrics

The One who made the blind to see
Is moving here in front of me
Moving here in front of me
The One who made the deaf to hear
Is silencing my every fear
Silencing my every fear

I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles

The One who does impossible
Is reaching out to make me whole
Reaching out to make me whole
The One who put death in its place
His life is flowing through my veins
His life is flowing through my veins

I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles

The God who was and is to come
The power of the Risen One
The God who brings the dead to life
You’re the God of miracles
You’re the God of miracles
The God who was and is to come
The power of the Risen One
The God who brings the dead to life
You’re the God of miracles
You’re the God of miracles!

I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles
I believe in You, I believe in You
You’re the God of miracles

I'm so excited we get the opportunity to introduce Alisa to Lisa. As I have had the privilege to learn Alisa's story, it's hard to understand how in the world she isn't bitter. But, she doesn't focus on the difficulties in the midst of some incredibly dark years, but rather on the miracles that God has done to bring her to where she is today. Her struggle began as a child when she contacted Lyme Disease. Even in the midst of this battle, Alisa continued to chase after God. When she was 20, she moved to Nashville to pursue a music career. Not long after arriving in Nashville, she got a call that her father had passed away suddenly. She was so close to her dad. But, she continued to chase after God. It became more and more difficult as the debilitating disease began to take it's toll. Alisa became bedridden for nearly 6 years. During this time, she was hospitalized and placed on feeding tubes because she couldn't eat. She was unable to even hold her head up due to muscle atrophy. Finally, her body began to respond to treatments and her health began to improve. She returned to doing music, including touring. It was while touring that she met her husband and later married. In their first year of marriage, Alisa became pregnant. They were so excited. Unfortunately, their son, London, passed away shortly after he was born. In Alisa's arms. But, again Alisa didn't let this destroy her. Instead, chasing after God all the more.

We've all experienced need in one way or anther, and I believe this song will inspire, encourage, and ultimately bring hope into whatever season of life we are in.
