Life can be complex and feel overwhelming.
There are seasons where you can feel disconnected and alone. We believe everyone deserves to know they are loved by God and that they are never alone.
We’ve been building community for the past 39 years, with a desire to glorify Jesus Christ, and to help you feel more grounded in your faith and connected to others and to God. Your donation allows WBGL to share hope with others through the music that we play, the conversations that we share, and the events we participate in.
Sharing Hope through Prison Ministry
The WBGL community made a concert possible at Stateville Correctional Center. You shared hope through a concert with UNSPOKEN.
Single Mom Saturday
Over the past sixteen years, you have brought encouragement to more than 1,000 single moms through a free oil change, car wash and interior cleaning. Local car dealers and car maintenance locations have offered their services to help the moms know someone cares and feel loved.
Fighting Human Trafficking
You along with hundreds of WBGL runners and walkers have fought human trafficking through International Justice Mission and Hope for Justice by participating in the Illinois Marathon, purchasing t-shirts and raising awareness. You and WBGL's Team Justice have fully funded over 20 rescues and raised over $300,000 to fight human trafficking since 2014.

Concerts
Each year, you make concerts happen throughout the WBGL listening area. People walk away from these shows with newfound hope in Jesus and encouragement to keep going. This past August, we had the Harvest of Hope Concert with our friends from Rural King. Zach Williams, Anne Wilson, Matt Maher, and Andrew Ripp shared about Jesus and the hope found in Him through their music. Over 4500 people attended!
Prayer Center
More than 20,000 people have prayed for someone through the Prayer Center on WBGL's website each year. And now, you can share your needs AND YOUR PRAISES! Every time you indicate you've prayed for someone, they will receive an email notification of encouragement to remind them they aren't alone.
The Right Song at the Right Time
WBGL receives so many stories of how listeners hear the right song at the right time. God uses your donations, and the music of WBGL artists, to reach nearly 300,000 listening hearts every week.
You are part of the WBGL community.
Thank you for sharing the HOPE you've found with others by supporting the ministry of WBGL.
