WBGL is a listener supported radio ministry, and we exist because of your generous financial support. Our Fall Fundraiser starts on Tuesday, April 28th, and we want to prepare for this time by praying and seeking God’s help.
You are invited to join us during these 10 Days of Prayer at WBGL. Thank you for taking the time to pray with us before our Fall Fundraiser begins.
Day 1 – Peace
“You will keep in perfect peace
Isaiah 26:3
those whose minds are steadfast,
because they trust in you.”
Your peace is found in fixing your thoughts on the Lord. When anxious or negative thoughts come, turn your focus to Him and trust that He will keep you in perfect peace. Ask God to help you, and other WBGL listeners, experience His calm presence today.
Day 2 – Hears
“The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them;
Psalm 34:17
he delivers them from all their troubles.’”
Be reminded today that the Lord hears you when you cry out for help. He doesn’t just hear some prayers, but all of them, and He promises to rescue you from every trouble. Thank Him for being near and for listening to your heart.
Day 3 – Keeps
“Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
Psalm 145:13
and your dominion endures through all generations.
The Lord is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.”
God always keeps His promises and is gracious in everything He does. You can trust His Word and depend on His faithfulness. Thank Him for being reliable and true, and remember that His promises are for you and for every WBGL listener who trusts in Him.
Day 4 – Forgive
“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.’”
Ephesians 4:32
Ask God to show you if there’s someone you need to forgive today. There is freedom in that forgiveness. Pray for a heart filled with kindness and compassion, and ask God to help you extend grace to others just as He has extended grace to you.
Day 5 – Grateful
“ Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.”
Colossians 3:15
A thankful heart creates room for God’s peace to rule. Take time today to thank Him for the blessings in your life. Ask the Lord to help you, and other WBGL listeners, live with gratitude and experience His peace throughout the day.
Day 6 – Pure
“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”
Philippians 4:8
What you focus on shapes your heart. Ask God to help you dwell on what is true and good. Pray for a mind that is renewed and protected by His Spirit, and for you and other WBGL listeners to find joy as you focus on what honors Him.
Day 7 – Faithful
“Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
Hebrews 10:23
God is faithful and can be trusted. Even when circumstances change, His promises remain steady. Ask the Lord to strengthen your faith and help you hold tightly to hope. Pray that you and other WBGL listeners would be encouraged by His faithfulness today.
Day 8 – Teach
“Teach me your way, Lord,
Psalm 86:11
that I may rely on your faithfulness;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.”
Ask the Lord to teach you His ways and give you a heart that is fully devoted to Him. Pray that you will rely on His faithfulness today and that your heart will stay steady and sincere in following Him.
Day 9 – Grace
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.”
Ephesians 2:8-9
Grace is a gift, freely given by God through faith. Thank Him for saving you and for showing you His mercy every day. Ask God that you and other WBGL listeners will rest in His grace rather than striving to earn His love.
Day 10 – Jesus Changes Everything
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
2 Corinthians 5:17
Jesus changes everything. Thank Him for making you new and for giving your life purpose and hope. As the Fall Fundraiser begins, pray that you and other WBGL listeners will experience a deeper sense of renewal and joy in Christ.
