The stories

Carly’s story
The day I truly believed God was real and truly felt his love and will never forget. I was sitting at a stoplight not to far from work crying as I had done many mornings. Jeremy Camp’s “Take this out of my hands,” was playing on your station. The volume went up on its own during the chorus of that song. I truly believe that was God speaking through your music ❤️ and he still does. Thank you!

Amanda’s story
After a long, difficult week, I found myself on my way to work this morning, listening to WBGL, when I caught the end of a segment about the book The Body Keeps the Score. As I listened, I felt a strong sense that God wanted me to hear it. I couldn’t shake the feeling that this moment was orchestrated and that the message wasn’t a coincidence. With that thought in mind, I felt compelled to share my story with you.

Sylvia’s story
I just want to say thank you. I was going to school to become a Medical Assistant and listening to WBGL saw me through that time. I would listen while I was studying and doing my research. I graduated and I am doing well. I love this station! God bless you all.

Aliza’s Story
I just felt so sad I didn’t even want to get up. As I was lying in my bed, then the song “Jesus Cries” played then right after that song was “Fear is a Liar.” I was comforted by those songs and then “The Truth” played, then a bunch of other comforting songs played. It wasn’t just songs to me, it really helped my heart and gave me the strength to get up. I just want to thank WBGL so much, you guys really help me in the down times.

Leslie’s story
I am deeply grateful to all for the impact you make on both the elderly and the young.

Carolyn’s Story
After losing my mother-in-law, my husband, my brother, a close friend, and a friend’s mother…The music and truly inspiring people who work at your station reminded me that God was with me through it all. Thank you!
