Start off your Christmas season with the Coles County Chorus annual Christmas concert on Sunday, December 8th at 3pm. The concert will be performed at the First Presbyterian Church, 10 Charleston Ave, Mattoon Illinois (just off of Rt. 16 and across the street from Big Lots). The concert is a collection of songs of faith and Christmas classics sung by the 20+ members of the Coles County Barbershop Chorus and quartets. Come early to get a good seat since seating might be limited. Admission is free. We will be taking a free will donation and the proceeds will be donated to local food pantries and homeless shelters in Coles County.
We hope you will come by and hear some good close harmony Christmas songs and maybe even sing a Christmas carol or two with us.
