I have a lot going on in my life and I had just started my road to sobriety when I began going to the church the pastor has been there for me 100%. He has attended all of my team meetings through DCs and efforts to regain full custody of my son back. I’ve also been having a lot of health problems and financial problems and vehicle problems and not only has he and the church help me with parts for my car on a few occasions but he has been a emotional support for me and my family. Before February of this year he was a stranger and I never met him in my life he even brought me a fence out of his own yard for my dogs. He has a family of his own and he works full-time outside the church so I’m sure there’s other things he’d rather be doing than putting his neck out for me but I want him to know that I really do appreciate him and he is definitely on my mind during pastor appreciation week.Thank You!

Last year was probably one of the toughest years I’ve been through in quite a while. In a four month time span, our beloved family dog passed away from cancer, my long-time job was eliminated and I was sent to a different division at the company, then my mother passed away suddenly, and I resigned at work. Life felt like it was spinning out of control and I could do nothing to stop it. However, through the grace of God, a lot of tears and questioning, plus a TON of prayer, I made it through the darkest moments. I am beyond grateful for WBGL and the consistent connection to prayer, worship music, and encouragement to find peace during the pain and confusion of life.
