I’m truly humbled and grateful to be able to share about hope found in Christ and to spend afternoons with incredible friends like you!

When I was in my teens, hearing a song on the radio changed my life and led me to the saving knowledge of who Jesus is!

“Lacks verbal self-control,” this box was ALWAYS checked on my report cards in grade school.

Figuring out life with you at WBGL and listening to great music is a highlight for me, and I’m from Kansas City (the Missouri side!), so a Midwest girl through and through.

Ryan Springer serves as the Program Director at WBGL, combining decades of experience with a heartfelt passion for Christian radio. With a deep love for Jesus, Christian music, storytelling, and community connection, Ryan leads WBGL’s mission to inspire and encourage listeners through Christ-centered programming.

I love living and working in the Midwest. My children grew up in Illinois and with 21 years at WBGL, Most of their lives have been spent right here.
