About the Artist

Jordan began his musical journey, when he was 14-years-old, by writing poems and lyrics that revealed the deeper things of life. During that time, he was able to hone his ability as a singer and guitar player. Jordan also developed a desire for songwriting and was able to introduce his first songs to his church where he was a worship leader.

When Jordan was 19-years-old, he connected the dots between music and the impact it had on social justice issues. This prompted him to enroll in the discipleship training school at YWAM (Youth With A Mission) in Montana. During his training with YWAM, Jordan served two months in New York City supporting the Salvation Army’s relief efforts post 9/11. After returning home, Jordan felt that it was time to release his first project of songs inspired by his experience. Under the guidance of Canadian veterans Steve Bell and John Buller, he found a recording home at DeCapo Studios in Winnipeg, and with producer Nolan Balzer at the helm, he released his debut, self-titled EP.

Over the next few years, Jordan continued to pursue his music career as a worship leader, singer, songwriter, and frontman to a rock and roll band he formed with his brothers. During this time, he released two band projects as well as two solo albums. Jordan performed in clubs, coffee houses, churches, and youth groups which showed him humanity’s deep desire for connection and the hope to find something genuine. This revelation made it easy for Jordan to leap into Contemporary Christian music wholeheartedly because he knew he was not just pursuing a career, but rather a life calling.
