It’s that time of year again…Downs United Methodist Church is hosting its Annual Cookie Walk on Saturday, December 14th, at their new building at 205 S Highway Ave in Downs! The doors open at 9 AM, and trust us, you’ll want to be there early. Why? Because the legendary church ladies have been baking up a storm like they’re competing for a spot on The Great British Bake Off!
From classic chocolate chip to those fancy cookies you can’t pronounce but taste heavenly, there’s something for everyone. We’ve got sugar cookies, snickerdoodles, and, of course, some mystery flavors that we can’t identify but promise will change your life! And wait…it gets even better, because our Swap Room will be open for shopping, too!
But here’s the deal: once they’re gone, they’re GONE! So don’t dilly-dally or you’ll be left with nothing but crumbs. Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and prepare your sweet tooth for the Annual Cookie Walk on Saturday, December 14th, starting at 9 AM. Get there early, because these cookies will vanish faster than your willpower around Christmas dessert!
